Universal-Fit Truck Accessories

You know the feeling. You've got a clear idea of how you want the truck to look, and the only thing standing between you and the build is whether someone, somewhere, makes the part to fit your specific model. Half the time the answer is yes, no worries. The other half it's a six-week wait for an indent order.

That's where universal-fit gear earns its keep. Stacks, lights, air horns, steps, polishes, gearshift knobs, hub covers — a huge chunk of what we stock isn't tied to one make or model. It suits a wide range of trucks, so you can fit it to a Freightliner, a Kenworth, a Hino, an Isuzu, a Mack, or whatever you happen to be driving.

What "Universal" Actually Covers

Universal-fit gear is everything in the workshop that wasn't designed for one truck. Some of it is properly universal — a polish doesn't care what badge is on the bonnet. Some of it fits a standard size or spec that turns up across multiple makes — exhaust stacks, hub covers on 10-stud Euro and Japanese hubs, antenna mounts. And some of it bolts on with the right adapter, which is where a quick chat with the team comes in handy.

Outside the Cab

Exhaust is one of the bigger universal-fit ranges. Aussie curves in 6-to-5-inch and 7-to-5-inch, Y-pipes, elbows, stainless air rams, heat tape, reducers from 5-inch ID down to 4-inch or 4.5-inch OD. The 350-Series chrome stacks even come in a heat-rated version for EGR/DPF motors — handy if you've had trouble with discolouration on older chrome.

Lighting is the other big one. LED watermelon lights, 2-inch and 4-inch round markers, 12V and 24V slimline trailer lamp packs, LED strip rolls in five colours. Most are ADR-approved, IP67-rated, and pre-fitted with plug terminals — so a sparky (or a confident DIYer) can wire it in without inventing a connector. Beyond that: dome hub covers with 33mm nut covers for American 10-stud and 335 PCD Euro/Japanese setups, ribbed alloy steps in 1330mm, 1500mm and 1600mm, CB antennas, air horns from single bells to four-trumpet competition kits.

Inside the Cab

18-inch wood-rim steering wheels with chrome spokes. Eaton shifter knobs — 1/2-inch-13 thread, fits the 13/15/18 boxes, which covers most of the gearboxes out there. Billet aluminium window cranks and door handle kits with adapters for circular, splined and squared shafts. Shifter boots, dash trim, air valve knob stickers. Plus polishes, fibreglass repair kits, air fresheners, and the small stuff that keeps a truck looking sharp.

Worth Knowing Before You Order

Measure twice. Most stacks and hub covers are sized by inches or PCD — get the numbers off your existing gear first.
Check the voltage. Most LED gear is 12V or multi-volt 12/24V, but not all of it.
Ask about availability. A lot of this we order in — flag your build deadline early.
Some bits need an adapter. Shifter knobs and steering wheels especially.
