Truck Centre BOP has been supplying Argosy facelift kits since the late 2000s, and to date we’ve sold around 25 kits and fitted 7 of them right here in our Mt Maunganui workshop since 2022.

Turn Your Series One Argosy into a Series Two (V Grill) Style

This facelift kit upgrades your early model Argosy from the original Series One style to the later Series Two V Grill look – and the result is a sharper, more modern front end that really turns heads on the road.

The job’s fairly straightforward and can be tackled by most workshops, panel shops, or anyone with solid mechanical know-how. Or if you’d rather leave it to the pros, our team at Truck Centre BOP can handle the full install – just get in touch for a quote.

Tools You’ll Need

• Drill and drill bits
• Rivnut insert tool and rivnuts
• Normal mechanics tools
• Disc grinder with cut-off wheel (some mods required)

Other Bits and Pieces

• Stainless bolts, nuts, washers, and rivets
• Wiring terminals, cable ties, and maybe a sparky if your wiring’s a bit messy
• Forklift or two strong blokes to lift the old and new grills
• You may need two new gas struts, as the V Grill is roughly four times heavier than the old one

What’s Included in the Kit

• Left and right outer & inner corner panels
• Left and right headlight housings
• Left and right chrome headlight bezels
• Two headlights and two inner front lights/indicators
• Two amber LED side indicators
• Bracket kit
• V Grill
• Installation photos and guide

Approximate Time Required

• 8 hours (one person) to strip off the old grill and panels
• 8–10 hours (one person) to fit the new grill and panels
• If you don’t have a forklift, grab a mate – two people make the lifting easier

A Few Things to Note

• The outer corner panels and headlight housings come unpainted – best to paint them in your fleet colours before you start.
• If your truck’s had serious frontal damage in the past, this kit may not fit correctly.
• We don't paint the vehicle, that is the owner's responsibility.
