Every now and then a rig comes along that's had the full treatment. This International S3600 is one of them. Stripped back to bare bones, rebuilt from the chassis up, and finished with no expense spared — she's ready for a new home.

Stripped Right Back, Built Right Up

This wasn't a quick tidy-up. The whole chassis was stripped and rebuilt from scratch, then professionally sandblasted to get it back to bare metal — no rust, no shortcuts, no filler hiding old problems. The cab got the same treatment. Fully rebuilt, inside and out, so what you're looking at isn't a patch-up job. It's as close to starting fresh as an old International gets.

Looking Sharp, Right Through

Once the bones were sorted, the whole truck — cab and chassis — went through a full repaint. That's the kind of finish that only comes from doing the prep properly first. Under the skin, the electrics got the same no-half-measures approach: new wiring, new alternator, new batteries, new starter. A new radiator and hoses round out the cooling side. Nothing old left hanging around to let you down.

Nothing Left to Chance Underneath

A rig's only as good as what you can't see, so that's where a lot of the real work went in. The brake system's had a full overhaul, top to bottom. Rear suspension's been completely rebuilt. The engine's been serviced and given a top tune, so it's running the way it should. New filters across the board — fuel, oil, gearbox and diff — because there's no point doing all the rest and leaving the small stuff half-done.

Put it all together and you've got a classic International S3600 that's had every corner of it gone over — chassis, cab, paint, electrics, brakes, suspension, engine. No expense spared. It's the kind of rebuild you don't see come up for sale very often, and it shows the second you look at it.
