Engine History – The Good Stuff

The core engine started life as a genset, barely run in for an 8V92. From there, Paul Harvey and the team at Diesel Works stripped it down and rebuilt it from the ground up using new or re-manufactured components to convert it into a full road-spec engine - currently to suit a Kenworth.

After the rebuild, the only running time added was approximately 4 hours on a dyno. That’s it. A low-hour, professionally built Detroit like this does not come up often.
